Infant & Mother Specialist
Our Infant Specialist is there to assist the entire family with the everyday care of their new baby/babies. . Our Infant Specialist is there to make sure everyone is getting the much needed rest they deserve. Our Infant Specialist's goal is to leave the family with everyone transitioned into their new role as parents.
Some of the responsibilities of the Infant Specialist & Mother Support include:
- Assisting in feeding the baby/babies
- Assisting in bathing baby/babies
- Assisting in diapering
- Bringing in daily foods to prepare
- Help prepare family meals
- Education on "normal" newborn behavior
- Laundering baby/babies clothing and linens
- Keeping the nursery tidy
- Changing linens
- Maintaining all supplies
- Restocking baby/babies care items
- Emptying diaper containers
- Running baby/babies related errands as directed
- Singing, reading, and stimulating activities for the baby/babies
- Complete Lactation support
What is a typical schedule for an Infant & Mother Specialist?
Our Infant Specialist usually works 4-6 hours a day, either 2-3 days a week, to help the family get the much needed rest and assistance on their new beggining that they deserve. As some Infant Specialist work night shifts, we do not recommend this unless absolutely neccessary. We teach you how to manage those night hours as we will not be a live in situation for life. This is your life. The Infant Specialist will work with you to set a schedule for the baby/babies that will best fit your needs.
How long should I have an Infant & Mother Specialist?
Having an Infant & Mother Specialist is in high demand. To have the full effect of an Infant & Mother Specialist, we recommend that you reserve your time several months in advance. Giving your birthing "time frame" is all we need to put on the calendar. Families with preemies, twins, triplets, and quadruplets tend to have Infant Specialist's for a longer period of time. Some families request 4 days some request 3 weeks. We can talk about your needs and find out what you feel will be the best situation.
What do I need to provide for an Infant & Mother Specialist?
The only necessity needed for the Infant & Mother Care specialist is a list of favorite foods and goals. Your specialist will work with you on any challenges and questions you might have.
What is our goal as your Infant & Mother Specialist?
Our focus as your Infant & Mother Specialist is to reassure you as new parents and make your transition to parenthood relaxed and enjoyable. Nobody will ever parent your child as well as you will, and we want to help get you off to a good start.
What are the fees for an Infant & Mother Specialist?
3hr a day minimum for 3 - 4 days the first week at: $45.00 hour
All food ( daily groceries ) and extra necessity items needed are separate than the hourly fee and are paid for upon receipt.
A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is required at the time of reservation. Deposits will be refunded only in the event the provider can not be available due to special circumstances from the parents. This rarely happens as we find time for all our clients.
We recommend reserving your time several months in advanced. If you do not have a reservation and would like an Infant & Mother Specialist immediately, we will work very hard to give you the time and support to fit your needs
A pre-natal visit is required so our Infant & Mother Specialist can meet with you and talk about your needs and goals.
