Family Music for Babies
(ages 0-18 months)

Wednesdays
10:30AM
30 minutes weekly w/ parent + 15 min. of social/play time after each class!)
You will sing, cuddle, tickle, rock, bounce, and do body awareness games with your precious little one. Your child's senses will awaken to these exciting activities, animal sounds, and to the beautiful variety of music ranging from folk songs to orchestral works. You can both start forming valuable friendships, as well. Don’t forget . . . you’re doing it all with (or for) these babies & toddlers, so it’s quite the fun, aerobic workout for the parents, as well.
PURPOSE:
These classes increase your child’s curiosity about music and stimulate his/her neural pathways, which can increase a child's musical potential. Neurologists have proven that interaction with music literally helps map a child's brain as it grows. The activities help develop higher learning, listening skills and sense of beat, establish a foundation for singing and musical thought, and help form a closer bond between parent/guardian and child. This class also helps you learn how to play musically with your child so that you can continue the experiences at home with your family using your new materials. Come join the adventure! |
